About 300 employees are currently working for UKM, most of them qualified workers with excellent training. Besides our customers' high requirements with regard to product quality, the company management itself is setting high standards for all employees. With good working conditions in a modern environment, state-of-the-art machinery and absolute compliance to all safety standards, preconditions for excellent performance are provided. Manufacturing staff can take part in decisions about their individual work time as far as the requirements of the shift structure permit. Due to a variable and transparent compensation system, workers are also able to influence their earnings.
At UKM efficient communication is regarded as essential. Apart from meetings and standardized information boards, our company magazine and spare time activities provide opportunities for information exchange and social contact. During bowling evenings or motorbike trips for instance, colleagues and superiors can get to know each other outside the working environment and exchage experiences and ideas, or discuss problems. Of course we also provide workshops on different topics.
